A link is what you click on on your computer. A menu is what you get when you're at a resturaunt.
The difference between a link and an interface is the protocol used.
Set menu is know as A A'L CARTE MENU.......& Selected menu is know as TABLE D'E HOTE MENU....

Pop up menu: This menu can be displayed anywhere on the page with a right-click of the mouse.Pull down Menu: This menu can be displayed when you click or bring mouse on menu then list of sub menu will be displayed under the main MENU.

Technology wise there is no such difference.
In start menu properties change Music from link to menu then apply. If it is menu change to link. After you have done this go back and set which one you prefer.
