Well is depends because i use wave Nouveau and it makes my hair straight and shiny. But they do have a curly wave Nouveau and that makes it look kind like a Jerry Curl but it works very well.
UH?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Oh honey, a wave nouveau perm is like the fancier, sassier cousin of the regular perm. It gives you those gorgeous waves that make you look like you just stepped off a beach in Malibu. Just remember, with great waves comes great responsibility - you gotta take care of those locks to keep them looking fierce.
Both of them look awesome. The first time i did my curl perm i used Wave Noveu then my hair dresser switched to Wave By design because she ran out. But on a daily basis, like the conditioner i use to maintain it is the leave in Wave Noouveau. I wish i could post pictures in this thing to show you how it came out and how it looks maintained, but both of them are basically the same.
NO, NO, NO, NO!!!! Your hair will SERIOUSLY break off and become damaged. The only way to put in a wave nouveau "on top" of a relaxer is to cut out or grow out the relaxer first. PERIOD. Anyone who tells you that it is possible is not the person to do your hair. Ask any professional hair stylist. If they're in any way a good stylist they will know this basic rule concerning a wave nouveau. NO, NO, NO, NO!!!! Your hair will SERIOUSLY break off and become damaged. What sulfate free shampoo and conditioner is better for the wave nouveau
Yes, the Wave Nouveau perm system uses a chemical called ammonium thioglycolate as its main ingredient for perming the hair. This is different from sodium hydroxide, which is a common ingredient in relaxers, but they both work to alter the hair's structure.
perm wave
She can, however the hair has to be very strong so it is recommended that one wait two months before attempting any other type of chemical processing.
Honey, first, you gotta section off your hair, then apply the waving lotion, making sure to saturate each section. Next, comb through to distribute the product evenly, then slap on a plastic cap and let it marinate for the recommended time. Rinse, neutralize, and voila, you've got yourself some bouncy waves! Just don't come crying to me if you end up looking like a poodle, okay?
Yes you can.
