After much dilligence I finally figured it out, and it only took me two nights!! The instructions that come with the replacement head are ridiculous because it tells you how to change the head on every other brands mops, but not their own. There are no screws or clips, you just have to beat it off! The actual mop head slides right off... right off if it were not rusted to the mop itself. But, I live in an apartment and hate my land~lady, so I just turned it sideways and hit it on my back stair railing and BADA BING. It slid right off... down onto the driveway. Any-hoo, the new head slid right on with little problem. It's a pain in the butt, but it does clean better than any other mop I've used. I hope this helps someone, I looked forever for an easy answer.

Mops will continue to pick up dust as long as the mop is clean. However, when the mop is already dirty it won’t be very ideal to continue using it, because it will just move the dirt around while never cleaning your floor. This is actually the perfect time for you to clean the mop. There are durable mops that can be placed in the washing machine and it can run through a gentle cycle. On the other hand, other mops will wear out if placed in the washing machine. When your mop is already dirty, stop using it and start cleaning it. Here are some tips on how to clean your mop when it is already dirty. • Get a pail and fill it in with one to two gallons of warm water. You also need to add some laundry detergent to the water and mix it by stirring continuously. • Detach the head of the mop from its frame. There are some mops that need to be untied to remove the head while there are others where you only need to slip the head off the metal frame. No matter which type of mop you own, you need to detach the head, because that will be the part of the mop that you will be cleaning. • Put the head of the mop on the pail of water with laundry detergent. Stir the solution. Let it stand for an hour, so that the dust will precipitate. Once the solution become black or dirty you need to dump it and replace it with a new solution of warm water and laundry detergent. Let the mop head stay in the solution for another minutes. • Rinse the mop thoroughly using warm water. Once done, you should rinse it again using cold water and squeeze out excess moisture. You can hang it to dry afterwards. Once your mop is perfectly clean, you will be able to use it again. Mops have to be cleaned every now and then so that the floor can also be cleaned properly. Cleaning a mop is not difficult, and this will save you money from buying a new mop frequently.
Although mopping may take a bit longer when using a steam mop, it will clean better than a regular mop. A steam mop will kill germs and dust mites when held in place for a few seconds. A regular mop does not do this.

No, you cannot clean wood floors with a steam mop. The steam will cause the wood to bubble and will get a mould underneath it.

Unlike the previous generation of robots with mop functions that required manual cleaning of the dirty mop pad, TECBOT M1 has a self-rinse function that uses high-pressure water to maintain a clean mop head as it moves across the floor without returning to its base. More intelligent, more versatile, more effective! A sensor monitors the condition of the mop. It triggers an automated self-rinse whenever necessary, ensuring that the mop pad is always clean and preventing contamination of the previously cleaned floor areas. Less effort, less worry! TECBOT M1 has a unique feature that automatically lifts the mop roller when it moves from the floor to a carpeted area, preventing wetting your carpet. The mop will also lift when finished mopping and while returning to its base. It will not repeat the previously cleaned areas. There are several modes to choose from via the app: Sweep, Mop, Heavy Mop, or combine them all! The app makes it easy to select that mode that fits your unique cleaning needs.
