If you are talking about the track above a door, such as drawing room or pocket doors, you need to have someone lift the door (or lift it and slide a shim under the bottom to raise it. Then, fix the "pin" or the fixtures that attach to the track. Gently lower the door, removing the shim. Test its sliding.
