ANSWER!Kickflips weren't even invented when Mullen was 11 . but Mullen is the reason of modern street Skateboarding him and mark gonzales made it what it is today. Rodney invented almost every trick you do eg ollie, kickflip, heel flip, tre flip, lazer, varial kick, varial heel and more. all these tricks came from HIM! Rodney mullen was on the bones brigade (that's when Stacy peralta was working with Powell and the bones brigade was their team of skateboarders) he went pro in his early teens. he was a freestyler/flatground skateboarder he currently skates for almost skateboards, ricta wheels (i believe), tensor trucks, globe shoes, and not sure if he's still on matix? hw is best friends with Daewon Song (almost is their company they own and created) born on august 1966 so he is 41 now and still skates! ro Rodney is a very smart person he has PhD's in science he studied physics a lot also chemistry hes knowledge created so many great skateboarding technology.
