There is no way to compare the 2 because they skate totally different style- Tony Hawk is a very skater and Rodney Mullen is freestyle or street. I would say they are each equally prolific in in their own right, both pioneers of what is modern day Skateboarding. There is not one trick that skaters do today that wasn't either created by one of them, or isnt a variation of one of their creations. They share the title as Best Skater Ever in my book (Although personally Rodney Mullen is my favorite skater)
