The term 'be yourself' is very cliche, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't listen to it
Well, you certainly have heard it often and it sounds, at least to me, a bit trite.
You hear this advice, particularly if you are so unfortunate to be an insecure teenager, quite often, and if you want to say anything relevant I would recommend something less superficial and some advice or phrase which is original.
