What if your crying and you can't stop?

There are different ways to stop oneself from crying. For instance, the minute you feel the urge coming on think of something funny to keep your mind occupied. Another would be to just calm down and tell yourself that "You're not going to cry". Basically anything that can take your mind off from crying should work.

Just talk to someone and tell them how you feel and tell them why you are crying and what you are crying about then it might make you fell a little better about what you are crying for.

Talking to my bestfriends helped me... i still cry here and there and i havent stoped thinking about him but it helped me... my best friend gave me a shoulder to cry on and it felt like i can just let everything out and that i didnt have to do anything else... but when i got home i started to cry even though my sister and my bestfriends arent here doesnt mean anything i let it out and asked questions on here and i figured that i can still love him but love somebody else at the same time. Just not date anyone because you may be still hooked on that dude or girl:) be happy don't cry:( that's the worst thing you could ever do!!

The best answer may be to see a doctor, and preferably a psychiatrist. Anti-depressants may be of benefit to you. But if that is not an option, maybe you can get some B-complex, St. John's Wort, and SAMe, keep a couple of hotline numbers handy, and find some friends to cry with. If you feel like doing something you shouldn't, call someone, anyone, call a hotline, or if nothing else, call an emergency number.
