The saying should read "Do unto others as ye would have them do unto you" It is taken from the Sermon on the Mount found in the book of Matthew.

However the phrase "Do unto others before they do unto you" does appear in Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

"Do unto others before they do unto you" is also from the movie Van Helsing. IGor said it.

Actually, the saying was also used in Season 11 of the TV Series "Dallas" in the fourth episode, by JR Ewing in a conversation with Casey Denault. (1987)
