He put a few used things on the site that he was willing to sell, and eventually, in late `95, he sold something. He sold a broken laser pointer that he used to use as a toy for his pet cat. Amazingly, Pierre sold the broken laser for $14.00. Today, the same site is now called E-bay, and Pierre has made his way up to a billionaire.
