I loved them... my mom always bought me black Suede Gass shoes! They lasted for ever...too bad they don't make them anymore! That would be sooooo cool to have a pair of them....made by Kinney shoes some time in the 70's to maybe the early 80's I think was when they were popular...around the same time moccosin boots were in!

Can GASS shoes still be purchased?
Not unless you can find them used on Ebay. In 1998 Kinney shoes, (The Great American Shoe Store) GASS closed it's doors. I also at 40 years old would like a pair of black GASS shoes. I spent many a stoner years in those shoes. If someone out there has a pair, please send them to China to be copied. You could make a cool million selling on Ebay.
