Well it depends on the vacumm and the brand.If you are rich then more then $100, but if you are poor then less than $100.
I believe that the Dyson is worth the price. I have used the Dyson for many years and for many tasks. The Dyson has far exceeded my expectations of a vacuum cleaner. I do not believe that there are any cheaper vacuum's on the market that would be as convenient or effective as the Dyson.
Just heard an answer to this today. I can not verify if it is true. But met a man who toured the Dyson factory (he sells vacuum cleaners) and said it costs $27- I can't remember the model number, but still an incredible mark up if that is the case.
