You can check their feedback for recent sales. Click on the feedback rating to the right of a member's username, then select the 'feedback as seller' tab and you can see the items that they have sold over the preceding 90 days. After 90 days, the items are no longer available to view. If you need to check back further than 90 days, it is possible to look back over the preceding 120 days if you use the Goofbay site (goofbay.com)

A couple of sources of information for finding out what really sells on eBay are the eBay Pulse and "Want It Now" ads but it is a good idea to start by selling your own surplus items so that you can get a better feel for how to sell and what selling fully involves.

When searching for an item, there are a variety of options on the left side of the screen to help narrow down search results. One of those options is to only show sold listings. From there, it will show sold items, including the final sales price.
