Alice in Wonderland has been popular for more than 100 years. The blockbuster Alice movie with Johnny Depp has produced many interesting Alice and Wonderland costumes that are big favorites with children and adults alike. With so many choices, a group of kids or adults can recreate the entire whacky cast of characters. And, they don't have to wait for Halloween. A birthday party with a Madhatter Tea Party theme is a great way for children to enjoy them. Or have a costume party with an Alice theme and just see what Madhatters, queens and cards show up! Alice costumes range from little girl cute to sexy grown-up styles. Either way, a girl or woman will look gorgeous. Or should it be called "wonderland"ful? Johnny Depp's Madhatter made this character popular with both girls and boys. Men love to put on the crazy top hat and haphazard suit. Women like to see their men in the costume, but some are happy to wear it themselves. Although women may choose the men's version, there is also a women's version with a skirt to keep it feminine. The White Queen and the Red Queen from the blockbuster Alice are a popular choice. Their dramatic, comical gowns with or without the wigs are imagination run amok. These are adorable on girls and beautiful on women. All of these costumes come in a range of styles and sizes. There are sassy teen styles and tutu styles for young girls. Costume parties are in style. Whether it's for Halloween, a movie premiere, or someone's birthday, adults are finding it fun to deck out in costumes. Of course, children and many teens are already into that style. Fortunately there are a ton of choices for children, teens and adults. It's popular to have a theme and invite the adults to pick something from a list. That helps narrow choices. Here are a few examples but there are many combinations. For children, a Disney-themed party is simple. There are just so many different characters: Buzz and Woody, the princesses, the princes, the crazy animals. Every kid loves to dress up when its from a favorite movie: Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo. The list goes on and on. Costumes today are available for most Disney characters. Finding them online is a good bet because the more unique you want, the harder it is to find (unless you go online!). Online you can find many different styles of the same character and certainly many different sizes. For teens, Disney may still work as well. One popular party for girls is a Madhatter Tea Party with Alice and all of her friends. For boys, a villains party is fun. It may be Disney villains or more sinister ones, depending on the age and wishes of the party host. Of course teens and adults alike, villains are popular as are Super Heroes. Women love become Catwoman or Wonder Woman. Men really get into being Batman, Superman, Ironman, Spiderman, the Green Hornet and more. An entire party full of Superheroes ensures that people will start the party talking and keep the party in full swing. Looking like Captain America just takes the edge off of social situations. Of course, it doesn't have to be limited to heroes or humans. It can include Transformers and other blockbuster movie characters with super powers.
