How to dress in the fashion:

Shoes: In 2009 - 2010 Ballet flats; that are moderately pointed or curved tipped are in, also you can wear Havianas (Thongs), every one is wearing those, especially to the beach. Sandals that are to your ankles and higher are definitely in, you can pair them with a cute skirt or some denim shorts. No boots in summer, especially not with frills, they are very overrated and more for the older twenty one year olds. Heels, only if you're in the city other wise no, and they must be strapy or pumps of any colour, colours are in right now.

Clothing: The bohemian Indy style is in right now so if it's summer you can wear awesome little frocks that either go to your ankles or range between your lower to mid thigh in length. Jean shorts; never get old or you can wear cotton shorts. Skinny leg jeans of straight leg cut jeans, colourful ones are in, but the basic, blue, black and white washed are the best. They can had little frayed rips for style. For jeans if you are up to sixteen and over wider leg jeans, that are baggy work for you guys if you pair it with a tight jersey and fly eyes sunnies.

Tight tops are in and leotards but if you're not a fan of those then loose baggy tops with a cool print of them pair nicely with jeans.

Miniskirts in denim aren't in.

Cardigans; they are the perfect jumper, they are cool enough to pair with many outfits and they are normally light so they are easy to carry around if you get too hot.

Make up: Only soft amounts of makeup, nothing that says "I don't know what my natural shade of skin colour is" Make it so it blends and you look fresh. Soft mascara that matches your eyelashes and just defines the length plus some lip gloss.

Hair: Head bands are in, whether you prefer them small or chunky they are all in, try to get something that looks nice with out drawing too much attention because some times that doesn't work and you walk around looking silly. Fringes are cute but only if you like them and your hair sits properly otherwise it's not worth the effort, loose curls pulled up into a loose high ponytail. Quiffs and puffy hair is in, but do whatever really suits the outfit or you.

Accessories: Keep them to a minimum, if your outfit is grabbing go with a few gold or sliver thin bangles or a cute ring no chokers or thick necklaces, long pendant ones look the best and can make a V neck top look brilliant. They can also accentuate the top of your dress or top.

Purse: It depends where you are going, if you're off to go shopping larger bags that are leather or faux leather are in, or a clutch if your not looking to haul a big bag around. If you are going over night or to the beach a nice tote bag, like a country road bag or a sportsgirl bag. Also ones that go across your body with a long strap are in when you are shopping, you can have those in colours to add some colour to your outfit.
