A bride can wear anything she wants. Unless the school shoes and socks have a special meaning to you then it would be wise to either wear flat shoes or a high heel (not too high of a heel or your feet will be sore before the wedding celebration in over.)
It depends, if your wearing it to work you should wear a dark mid-heeled shoes which look smart. If it is on a night out you should wear either gladiator straped heels or a shiny (silver), heel with gems over the foot. Just something to make you stand out hop this helps!!!!!! :-P
