A "gas furnace" is called a furnace, an "electric furnace" is called an Air Handler
Where is the serial number located on a 2004 nordyne gas package heat unit
When inspecting an old Coleman mobile home furnace, common issues to look out for include rust or corrosion on the unit, cracks in the heat exchanger, malfunctioning thermostat, dirty or clogged filters, and unusual noises or smells coming from the furnace. It is important to address these issues promptly to ensure the furnace operates safely and efficiently.
Highly doubtful... Try searching the model# on the manufacturers website for their model# nomenclacture. That will tell you everything you want to know about your unit.
Arrow on filter toward furnace or inline with air flow.
If is a 2 stage air conditioning unit. You might want to replace the furnace.
An A/C unit is not required to run a furnace. You will want to make sure there are no gaps or missing equipment.
I think you mean from the furnace to the ac unit as the ac unit does not power anything, so here is the low voltage wiring schematic from furnace to ac unit. Y--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Y C or Common----------------------------------------------------------------------------------C
You need to be a bit more specific in your question. You state you have 1 AC system but 2 thermostats. What type of heating system do you have? Gas furnace, Boiler, Electric heat, Hot Water? Is your heating unit separate from your cooling unit?
The furnace filter in a typical HVAC system is usually located near the air handler or furnace unit, either inside the unit itself or in a filter slot on the return air duct.
You should not be relighting the furnace, if your unit does not have an automatic ignitor you merely need to relight the pilot light and the instructions to do that specifically for your equipment can be found somewhere on the unit.
I am in the process of changing a gas furnace to electric now. it seems like a long road so far.i have just completed gutting the gas furnace out completely. as far as i can tell you will need to purchase your heating element assembly and sheet metal to replace the metal taken out of the original unit. element assembly must be within 1 foot of the blower (fan) so the air it brings in will be blown through the element assy.
