There are a great many people who produce high quality, professional fursuits (also called "animal suits" "animal costumes" or "mascot suits") for a living. A full-body costume can easily cost $500-$5,000 or more. Fully custom suits will generally be at the higher end of that spectrum.
There are a number of fursuit makers who maintain websites or profiles in online communities. Besides custom shops, you may also try a specialty costume or party retailer. Online auctions are also a good source for a fursuit, particularly if you'd like to find something second-hand or gently used.
A few fursuit buying resources are posted in the related links (see below).
Some examples of fursuit makers are:
Mixedcandy: Specialises in 'toony' suits, has been around forever and makes really high quality stuff: http://www.mixedcandy.com
Magpiebones: Excellent realistic costumes(Not sure if she has a website), lots of neat little odds and ends: http://www.furaffinity.net/user/magpiebones
Artslave: Does mostly scary and stylised stuff, good prices- will take up challenging commissions no problem(Does not maintain a website): http://www.furaffinity.net/user/Artslave

The Furducers make full-bodied fursuits for $800+. At least it's not like some prices that go up to $1,500.

You might find some at a Halloween store.
CursingL, you can't have external links. Someone flag him. *is a tattletale*
It is kind of a challenge to find faux fur that can be changed with clothes dye. If you plan to air brush your fursuit then just purchasan all white one of one which is a solid light color. It would however be much easier to just order your fursuit already colored.
Yes she has it is a pink bear
Talking in a fursuit usually sounds muffled and out-of-character, so most fursuiters tend not to talk in fursuit unless they're not performing. It also ruins th efect if they don't have a moving jaw on their suit.
Miami and Tampa and Tallahassee
Sewing michian fur and fabric
None that I'm aware of, but many manufacturers will ship you stuff no problem. And given the cost of a fursuit, the cost of shipping is negligable(Typically its anywhere from $30-70 for shipping).
A fursuit is a suit often worn by people involved in the furry fandom. fursuits are basically giant fuzzy and expensive costumes that look like your character. It’s just a way that furries express themselves
Most places don't really have fursuit stores. There may be a maker based out of that city but it isn't really a store. Most makers just work out of a separate room of their home dedicated to their fursuits. The best way to acquire a fursuit is to find a maker whose style you like and commission them to make your suit. If you want a fursuit but are not to specific with how you want it to look you could commission an artistic liberty suit. If you want your suit as quickly as possible there are online auctions and sales for pre-made suits, some of which may be pre-owned.
Candy, DontHugCati, and the list goes on like mix candy
It depends what you mean by cheap. Typically you can get a partial for $200(cheap end) to $650 (Median) to $1000 (pricey). I'm not really sure of anyone who does $200ish partials professionally. New people interested in fursuit making will often make trial fursuits for people for just materials costs alone! This ranges from $200-500, but look around.
I can only give you alittle advice... Well, first you look around youtube.com for tutorials. Then, go out and buy Fur, claws, Foam, Hot Glue, And such and such. Then, Basically you sculpt the mask into whatever animal form.... and the feet paws and arms!
