i think they will prefer watching TV than reading .because reading is words and pictures .
A lot of people prefer watching television to going out. This is because watching television is more convenient, and doesn't involve spending a lot of money.
No, I do not prefer watching TV. I would rather read a book or work on WikiAnswers.
probably because they can tape it or get snacks in the middle or go to the bathroom and not miss something really important
I've found that spending a few hours cleaning with Korn blasting helps me, but some people prefer baking, watching television, reading, exercising, or other similar activities. In the end, it doesn't matter what exactly it is just as long as some form of escapism is involved.
If 3 out of every 5 people prefer a television set, then the proportion is 3/5. If we surveyed 5,000 people, approximately 3,000 of them would prefer a television set.

Television does not require you to think. You cannot really think about TV, because it continues and you cannot stop to consider carefully what is being said. That is why it is such an effective tool for propaganda. The same principle is used in political rallies: the boosters jump up and cheer and clap hands and lead chants immediately after the speakers have made some emotional point, which prevents listeners from carefully analyzing what was just said and draws them into the group.
alot of people would rather go the movies then be at home
In my Opinion I would do both. They usually say that "the book is better than the TV series" or something like that. But honestly I would try both and decide from there. (I've never watched the anime, but from what I've read of the manga it's pretty good so I would try both reading the manga and watching the anime).
It's the same with womens football, womens rugby etc. TV companies don't think that people are interested in watching women play these sports but instead think we would prefer to watch men, and the annoying thing is, theres not a lot we can do about it.
I'm not watching Winx right now because I prefer other genres or shows that align more with my current interests. Additionally, my schedule is packed, leaving little time for TV. While Winx has its charm, it doesn't quite grab my attention at the moment.
The ratings don't know what you are watching, but, for that matter, cabel providers do. For the rest, as far as I know, there are average households in the US and other countries, whom are contracted with companies, whom install devices that track there television habits. Than these companies sell these results to newspapers, and television companies, and so on. So although only a small amount of households are actually tracked, it gives a prity good estimate of which show/Chanel do people prefer the most.
