Turkiye Izcileri Federasyonu (TIF) or Scouting and Guiding Federation of Turkey, has 2883 Guide members as of January 1, 2006. It also serves 33,974 Scouts (as of 2011) and is a member of both the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS).
There were Girl Guides in Turkey as early as 1912. The central governing body for both Boy Scouts and Girl Guides, the Directorate of Scouting and Guiding, was founded in 1936.
