I seriously doubt that any politician of ANY state, has the guts to attempt to pass a law which set a prescribed age at which one becomes a "senior."
In California, at age 70 you are considered a senior regarding renewal of your drivers license, you are qualified for senior housing at age 55, for AARP at age 50 and you can get the senior discount at IHOP when you are 55!
