As a Point of interest, I myself, am a Freemason.
To become a Mason in a regular lodge you have to be Male, believe in a supreme being, and a life after death or "future existence." Our principle tenets are brotherly love, relief, and truth and we also believe that it is our duty to practice charity towards all man kind however and when ever we can. We also seek to better the world through bettering ourselves and thus becoming better men. Belief is a relative term and we don't practice and religious dogma, or dictate to our members what views they have to subscribe to. We offer knowledge, and moral teachings that if applied in you life will no doubt make you a better man despite you beliefs.
There really aren't any. Freemasonry's tenets are Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. But Freemasonry is only a fraternity, it does not have an ideology or "set of beliefs" that all Freemasons must subscribe to. Freemasons are all individuals, each with their own beliefs and opinions.
yes they r freemasons
J.R.R. Tolkien was a practicing Catholic and would not have been a member of the Freemasons. I have never seen any indications that C.S. Lewis was a Freemason.
Beliefs of the freemasons do tend to be against the teachings of the Bible. Instead of believing in the one True and Living God, Freemasons must vow allegiance to a "Supreme Being", which may includes the "gods" of any world religion.
Since beliefs are similar why would she object besides her opinion could not stop such a large group anyway
