There are various positions within Cub Scouting, but I'll assume you mean Cubmaster, who serves as the leader of the Pack. The Cubmaster works along side the Commitee Chair to organize, plan, and execute all the functions of the Pack. This include Pack Meetings, campouts, day activities, etc. He (or she in many cases) also works with his Den Leaders, who are essentially his liutenents in the Pack. His other responsibilties include attending District Roundtable meetings, MCing Pack meetings, setting an example for the Scouts, and living the Cub Scout Law and Oath in his daily life.
