I'd like to think so, since he spent so much time and travelled with donatello, who was prettty fruity let's be honest

And to the other commenters, yeah, his architectural archievements are great, so were his early works in sculpting, I'm learning abt him in my art history class. But sometimes it would just feel nice to know there were other people like me in history. Especially in the arts field. Also i love love looooove how assuming everyone in history ever was str8 is not "getting into someone's personal business" but even suggesting they're queer is like "whoahh heyy" if u dont have piles upon piles of "evidence" and even then it's just "speculation". Like i kinda get it, it's not like they could have a huge coming out event or anything, especially one we could see after all those years passed, and yeah sure, what matters most is their lasting impression on art history, yada yada...

But god D.mn it i can't and i Won't believe michelangelo and donatello and Tchaikovsky were the only queer artists in history, and also yeah, getting up in someones personal business would be a great way for me to relate to what I'm studying and not find it boring as f.ck.

Anyway. Sorry for getting so heated. But the point is, I'd love to believe Brunelleschi and Donatello have explored each others bodies. Thank you.
