I think that when looking at Overpopulation you have to look at all aspects. Including countries with higher birth rates to death rates and how they are handling the growth. Even in impoverished nations there is still food going around. I mean we are talking about poor countries that are still able to feed their people. Although yes there are parts in Africa that are getting hit hard by these affects.
The affect is more on the environment and ecosystem and that does not really matter what the population is, as long as the people are responsible.
There is much speculation as to whether the earth can actually sustain this population boom of humans, but one thing is for sure all the wrong countries are experiencing the over population growth.
Canada is way under populated and there are negative effects because of it. The U.S. for example is 9,826,630 km² or 3,794,083 mi² and has a population of 305,330,000 (2008 estimate). Canada on the other hand is 9,976,140 sq km (3,851,809 sq mi) and only has a population of about 33,000,000. Canada is larger but has very few people compared to the States.
Canada requires highways, bridges, transit, etc - the same infrastructure as the States needs but who pays for it?? the States has over 300 million people to help share the costs (taxes it collects). Canada has 33 million people to tax. Result - higher taxes both property and income tax. Work force - severe worker shortage - less people means less laborers, less professionals. To have competitive advantages in the world economy, there ha to be continued productivity of knowledge and knowledge workers. Hard to do with very few people.
There are many results of overpopulation, but the primary result is a shortage of food. In cases of severe overpopulation, you may get mass starvation. That, of course, reduces the population, so the problem is self correcting.
There will be more people without jobs, there will be less food as there are more mouths to feed, and more students will find it more harder to get college admission as the seats will be few.

There are many contributing factors that could be the cause for a decrease in fox population. Over population, not enough food, disease, or over hunting or poaching any of these could be the reason for a decrease in the population.
No. Evolution is the change in allele frequency over time in a population of organisms. This may be the result of stabilizing selection, but is still evolution.

Population density is calculated by dividing the population of a region by its land area. This measurement helps to determine how crowded or sparsely populated an area is.
As of 2021, the population of Whangarei, New Zealand, is estimated to be around 90,000 people.
The phrase over population literally means too much population. If it was the right amount of population it would not be called over population. So no, it is not good.
