∙ 11y agoIt is difficult to ascertain the exact number of species born each day, what we can do is specify the number of new species born each day. Which roughly equals 50 per day. Now compared to the 1200~ species extinct each day it seems far too few, but keep in mind that the number of species we find might be lower than the number of species created each day. Also, keep in mind that evolution works in a way where life accommodates itself to the current conditions so that most species would eventually grow accustom to human changes and eventually create new species which are immune to our effects, that will continue to grow. Like an ice age which annihilates a large percentage of life on earth but later on creates new forms of life that are fit to handle those situations.
