cults will use violence if you disagree in their beliefs, for example the ku-klux clan
Answer #2:
The biggest danger from cults, in my view, is that they believe they have some absolute truth that can't be questioned. They prevent their members from investigating alternative answers, and use pressure (positive and negative) to keep them within the fold. Anyone really interested in the truth encourages people to question, examine, develop; but the cults always erect a barrier - often geographical, by having a 'hideaway' where they all go to live, sometimes social, by restricting the time available to consort with non-members, or even emotional, by actively devaluing any person. group or activity that fails to conform to cult rules, and/or treating hesitant (or enquiring) members in a way calculated to cause the person to abandon their interest in non-cult matters. They are a poison in society because, in these ways, and whatever positive things they may otherwise do or believe, they devalue the individual and crush the human spirit.
Bad.
A religious cult would be considered a group with extreme or deviant beliefs, a charismatic leader who exerts control over its members, and practices that may harm or exploit followers psychologically, socially, or financially.
An example of social change would be the growing acceptance of homosexual actions. It isn't necessarily bad- it just reflects how attitudes and perspectives and attention has developed into something it wasn't before.
As of 2021, it is estimated that there are around 2.3 billion Christians worldwide, making Christianity the largest religious group globally.
Religion is a very important and integral part of Society. Without religion there is no Society

It is hardly inevitable that cults and sects are short lived and of little influence, given that every major religion in the world was at one time a cult or sect. Religions (like most things) start small and may get larger. No one can know for certain what the long term future of any cult or sect may be.

As vampires are mythical creature will little to no evidence proving their physical existence, I doubt there are any real vampire cults in the world. I would imagine however that there are sects or groups of people who adopt the vampire lifestyle, and they could be regarded as vampire cults in certain contexts.
