A person's environment can influence the way people act.
A person's environment includes people around them, pollution (noise, smoke) etc.
Say if a child was being bullied in school then they would become more withdrawn in this environment, they may still be acting the same in other environments or they may become more withdrawn all together. Also it is likely that they would begin to dread being in school because they are being bullied.
A more simple example would be: if someone was out at a cafe and a person at the table next to them starts to smoke, they may get up and move, where as they wouldn't other wise.
A person's environment can influence their behavior through social norms, upbringing, culture, and exposure to different stimuli. Environmental factors can shape beliefs, values, and habits, leading to certain ways of thinking and acting in specific contexts. Additionally, environmental stressors or resources can impact emotional well-being and decision-making processes.

This conditioning can occur consciously or subconsciously through repeated exposure to cultural messages, media, and social institutions.
