Belive or not, less than 10% of Crhistians have read the entire bible.
Considering how many parallels there are with humans and angels, and there are many, I would say that as many as 2/3 of the population could be Christian. I say that because God allowed 1/3 of the angels to side with Satan, with God keeping 2/3 of them. This definitely not for sure, but it is REALLY TOUGH TO TELL, regardless of what resources we have, as other than the Bible and its hints to this, there isn't much material to go on.Again, I would highly doubt that even Satan could win in this department, with the millions of underground churches/believers in china and other countries.I'm sorry to report that the above answer is really not that accurate. Studies confirm that only 1/3 of the world's population identify themselves as Christian. This includes a vast number who are 'cultural Christians', that is, people who are Christians because it is part of their culture or tradition but who do not read or follow the teachings in the Bible nor have ever done what is prescribed in Scripture that which is necessary to become "born again." The Barna Group, a polling company that tracks such things with precision, estimates that while 83% of Americans identify as Christian, only 17% have done what is necessary to fulfill the Biblical mandate to qualify as "born again." I can only believe that since America is the most "Christian" nation on earth, that the percentages can't be better worldwide. In nations which are 99% Buddhist, Islamic, Jainist, Shinto or express tribal religions I can't believe you can translate American Christian numbers over to them with fidelity.
Approximately 25 million people read Elle magazine worldwide each month.
There are examples of racism recorded in the Bible, but the Bible does not teach racism. It specifically denounces it. The Bible teaching on race is that all of humanity is of "óne blood" as all are descended from one human pair, Adam and Eve, and so are closely related. The concept of race as we know it today is a concept foreign to the Bible writers, although they do speak of "nations"" and "peoples".
"Bleach" was a widely popular manga series that was read by millions of people worldwide. It enjoyed a large and dedicated fanbase during its serialization.
Forbes reaches over 120 million people per month, making it one of the most widely read business and financial news websites in the world.
There are no accurate statistics on how many Christians have read the Bible in its entirety. It is important to remember that to read and understand the Bible as you go can be a serious challenge to faith. There are so many errors, improbabilities and inconsistencies in the Bible that arguably many who read it in this manner might cease to be such committed Christians by the time they finished the task.
they read it twice a day!
Yes. They are Christians, so they read the bible.
They went to Church and had it read out to them
Many people try to read as much of it as possible, some read the whole bible, but it is very rare to read the entire bible passionately in order and remember everything. Everytime I read the bible I find something new even if it is a passage I have previously read. I would have to say that the bible is an infinite book.
----------------------- Christians are all different. Perhaps a small minority read the Bible twice a day, but many never read the Bible except in church, if in fact they attend. No doubt others read it occasionally, even daily. The reasons some read the Bible so frequently can vary from strengthening their faith, to overcoming doubts, or simply because they find the Bible inspirational.
Christians read the holy bible.
That would probably be 'The Satanic Bible' by Anton LaVey.
Not only Christians read the bible. Did you know that the Old Testament comes from the Hebrew scriptures of Judaism? Even atheists -- those who do not believe in gods -- read the bible. There are so many contridictions, violence, and even pornography! Go ahead. Look up Ezekiel 23:20 and tell me that this should be read to good little children.
Is this a joke? If not, 35%.
the earliest christians were able to read the bible...if they could read. Once the bible was translated to latin in the vulgate, it became out of reach for most believers. This was done because latin was the language of the educated. What kept them from reading was not that they weren't allowed but that they didn't have a bible and they couldn't read latin.
all of itThe previous poster is incorrect. Most Christians have not read the entire bible. Ask them and they'll admit it. Unless they're lying, which is a sin.
