Islam
Islam is concentrated in the Middle East, North Africa, South Asia, and Southeast Asia. Countries with the highest Muslim populations include Indonesia, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, and Nigeria. Islam is the predominant religion in many of these regions.
Approximately 99% of the population in Iran follows Islam, with the majority being Shia Muslims.
Islam diffused and still is diffusing to all areas of the world.
Islam has spread in different ways in different countries, so it is difficult to figure out which style of spreading is being discussed here. It is also hard in many cases to tease out the religious principles of Islam from the various Islamic governments as opposed to what the leaders did for political reasons. _____________________________________________________ Islam was spread due to its authenticity, due to its logic arguments, truthfulness, and logics, due to the proofs that Quran is God revelation words to prophet Muhammad, and due to the good morals of Islam teachings and prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). ISLAM is the primary religion that uses and studies the Qur'an قرآن as its primary holy book. There are other Post-Islamic Religions like Baha'i and Druze, which developed out of Islam (hence the term Post-Islamic) that have high regard for the Qur'an and do use it on occasion, but only as a lesser source to their own unique holy books. (In the case of the Baha'i, the key holy book is the Kitab-i-Aqdas كتاب الأقدس and in the case of the Druze, the key holy book is the Kitab al-Hikma كتاب الحكمة.)
