As of 2012 there are currently about 45 in the United States. The FBI has approximetly 32, GBI has 1, California has 1, Florida has 1 and SLED (SC state police) has 3. These are operiational sworn agents. Who have trained under an already certified profiler and than attended numerous Fellowships with other Law Enforcement Agency. These are the real deal guys and girls. You will never see them on TV as a talking head.
