During the year of 2009 a total of 462 climbers climbed and reached the summit of Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world. Out of the 462 climbers only 33 of them were woman, and 2 climbers died on the way back down.
This would depend on lots of things.....the weather, how many groups are on the mountain etc. On a good day there could be a couple hundred climbers on the mountain aiming for the summit.
