They keep everything in order.

IMPROVED ANSWER: There are many reason that school rule shouldn't be banned. First of all school rule are there for your own safety. Some are maybe stupid and childish but believe me, out there in this world there is a stupid and childish kid whose would break that stupid and childish rule. So before thats happens, the school prevent it so something bad wouldn't happens! Also how would you get education if there no rules. Kids break rules and do stupid stuff. Fighting, spreading rumors, and even sexually harassing each others, image how much worse it would be like if there were no rules. I would like to ask YOU how would it be if schools rule are banned!

NEW AND IMPROVED ANSWER: All of the rules at any school were established because some student or students did not know or understand on their own how to behave in a public setting. If all people (students and adults) could be trusted to behave well toward each other, uphold their personal responsibilities toward the society or group they are a part of, then rules (and laws) would never have been invented.

Part 2 of the answer: If schools did not have rules, students could not learn to live by rules. If you don't know how to live by rules, you won't know how to comply with laws or how to take responsibility for your own actions. A sure recipe for spending the majority of your life behind bars.
