One sapproach is to follow the scientific method of the PDCA (plan, do, check, adjust) cycle.

In the Plan stage:

First & foremost they must fully understand the problem, i.e. they must be able to "grasp the situation". A problem is a deviation from a standard. They must first define the problem adequately. From there, they must move on to gather data to understand root causes of the problem, then prioritize them based on highest to lowest significance & finally hypothesize solutions that will resolve the issues causing the problem. This makes up the PLAN phase In the DO, Check, & Adjust phases:

They are following a feedback loop cycle to ensure that the hypothesized solutions indeed address the root causes to the problem. If so, they must standardize these solutions, if not, they must go back to PLAN.

How can we eliminate the research problem?

To eliminate a research problem, you can refine your research question, gather more relevant data, consult with experts in the field, review existing literature thoroughly, and consider using different research methods or approaches. It's also valuable to ensure that your research is focused, rigorous, and aligned with the goals of the study.

What are the Criteria of a good research problem?

A good research problem must support multiple perspectives. The problem most be phrased in a way that avoids dichotomies and instead supports the generation and exploration of multiple perspectives. A general rule of thumb is that a good problem is one that would generate a variety of viewpoints from a composite audience made up of reasonable people.A good research problem must be researchable. It seems a bit obvious, but more than one instructor has found herself or himself in the midst of a complex collaborative research project and realized that students don't have much to draw on for research, nor opportunities to conduct sufficient primary research. Choose research problems that can be supported by the resources available to your students.Umbrella topics must be sufficiently complex. If you are using an umbrella topic for a large class of students who will be working on related, more manageable problems in their learning teams, make sure that there is sufficient complexity in the research problems that the umbrella topic includes. These research topics must relate strongly to one another in such a way that there will be a strong sense of coherence in the overall class effort.

What percent of engineers are left handed?

Approximately 10% of people are left-handed, so it is reasonable to estimate that around 10% of engineers are left-handed as well. However, there is no specific data available for the percentage of left-handed engineers.

Difference between traditional research and Participatory Action Research?

Traditional research is typically conducted by researchers who collect data from participants and analyze it to generate knowledge. Participatory Action Research (PAR) involves collaboration between researchers and participants, who work together to address a particular issue or problem, with the goal of creating actionable solutions and bringing about social change. PAR values the expertise and knowledge of all stakeholders involved.
