If you get a level 3-4 then you are under- achieving
If you get a level 5 (ideally a high one) then you are average and on track for a C at GCSE.
If you get a level 6 then you are a bit higher than average and on track for a C or B at GCSE.
If you get a level 7 then you are a lot higher than average and on track for an A or B (even perhaps an A* if you work hard).
If you get a level 8 then you are doing exceptionally well and you would be on track for an A* at GCSE level.
Hope this helped :)

70 percent is the passing marks in the level 6 reading and grammar Sats.
This year the topic is on dragons.
An average person should get a level 4 in sats, unless you are weak in a certain area in a subject. The government want year 6 to get a level 4 so that is great if you do get it. Good luck tomorrow! Sats start tomorrow (Monday 9th May) and finish on Friday (14th may 2011) Hope this helps! xx If you're REALLY smart you'll get above level 5 but don't count on it and don't be disappointed if you get a mark you thought was bad. If you're average you'll get level 4 or above and if you're stuck on a particular subject then you'll get below that but still keep trying.
