a particular set of values characteristic of the police
Law enforcement isn't only a job. There is an attitude, ethos and worldview that comes with working in a police profession, and that tends to change the way the officer lives his life. That lifestyle is the police subculture. It reflects the values, practices, and beliefs held by police officers that shape their working and personal lives.

A violent subculture refers to a group within a society that promotes or glorifies violence as a way of life or as a means to achieve their goals. Members of this subculture often engage in activities that involve aggression, destruction, and law-breaking. Examples include gangs, extremist groups, and certain criminal organizations.
Retreatist subculture refers to a social group that rejects both the goals and means of society. This subculture typically includes individuals who drop out of mainstream society to lead alternative lifestyles, often by avoiding traditional societal expectations and norms such as holding a job or pursuing educational opportunities. They may instead turn to activities like substance abuse or homelessness as a way to disengage from mainstream society.
I would say not. Others might disagree.A subculture is a group of people in a culture that have a group cultural attribute that distinguishes them from others in that culture.Taoists are pretty free to express their beliefs in whatever ways they wish. They are allowed to have their beliefs guide their lives to greater or lesser degrees. They do not necessarily involve themselves with events or activities. One is not able to point out the Taoists as they walk down the street. So I do not think Taoism causes people to be culturally distinguished from others.Though I do not regard the question trivial (I thought it worthy of an answer), I think the question is rather like asking whether people who prefer believe dogs are man's best friend form a subculture.

What I think about subculture is that it is apart of our lives so that makes it a way of life.

One way is through peer pressure and influence, where juveniles in a subculture may feel compelled to engage in delinquent behavior in order to gain acceptance and respect from their peers. This can lead to a normalization of delinquent behavior within the subculture, increasing the likelihood of juvenile delinquency.
No way. It's a media. People can communicate, share and get informations. Users from different subcultures use this media but it doesn't mean it's a subculture itself.
