Around 50 inches for an average year. The problem with Moscow winters isn't the snow, but the wind that blows it around! Moscow is pretty slushy too. I've lived here for three years now and every year the snowfall has been really late (like typically the second week of December or so) compared to my hometown.
Moscow is a very beautiful city, but some people might not like it, as some people like certain things while others like other things.
I am from Moscow and I currently live in le Marais. And it does not at all remind me my hometown. Its more like 16 th that does. But maybe the similarity is the synagogues in Marais and synagogue in Bronnaya street in Moscow.
