I'm not 100% sure about this, but I have been doing a report on asymmetries betweent the right and left hands and the differences in these asymmetries between right- and left-handers, and from the information I have come across the 1 to 9 ratio seems to be pretty well accepted. (10% left-handed / 90% right-handed). Please correct me if you have more specific or up to date info. I believe ur right about that and of that 10%, 70% are males and 30% are females which means that 90% of the world is right-handed and 10% is left, 7% of the world is left-handed males and 3% is left-handed females. I believe you may be wrong because if 10% of people are left handed then 90% of people are right handed then how many people are ambidextrious? ^The amount of ambidextrous people is assumed to be negligible in this case.
Approximately 60-65% of hockey players are right-handed, meaning they shoot the puck with their right hand on the lower part of the stick. The remaining 35-40% are left-handed shooters.
Most humans are right handed but this may be as a result of centuries of disapproval of left handedness and therefore children were forced to be right handed in case they were accused of being odd or 'of the dark side'. The word sinister means to be on the left in heraldic language. In France a sinistre is a fire started deliberately. It has dark connotations whereas to be dextrous or have dexterity is to be on the right and be quick handed. Left handedness is inherited and along with red hair may be a genetic trait of Neanderthal man. This is of interest but not proven to be true.
In the creation story of the Iroquois people, the left-handed twin represents chaos and destruction, while the right-handed twin represents order and harmony. The people sing and dance for the left-handed twin as a way to pacify and appease his chaotic nature, hoping to prevent his destructive actions and maintain balance in the world.
About 10% of the world's population is estimated to be left-handed.
The ratio of left handed people to right handed people is 1:10 and there are around 6,692,030,277 in the world, so that means that around 6 022 827 249 right handed people.

96% of people are right handed
Approximately 12%So 12% of 7,000,000,000 (approx)7,000,000,000/100 = 70,000,00070,000,000 x 12= 840,000,000 left handers (less than the population of 2 of the world's countries- so not a lot really)
Statistically speaking, there are more right-handed people in the world than left-handed people.
Right handed
Yes, the majority of people in the world are right handed.

They do not. On average, right handed people live 9 years longer than them.
The oldest person in the world, Kane Tanaka, is right-handed.
