What is your definition of a "gang."
(in the US) Because the Caucasian race is the numerically largest racial group in the country it is quite likely that Caucasians have the largest NUMERICAL gang presence.
HOWEVER - expressed as a percentage of their representation in the US population as a whole, the other racial/ethnic gangs (Asian/Hispanic/Black) would have to be looked at to see which numbers are higher.
The early adolescent years (11-14 years of age) are a crucial time when youths are exposed to gangs and may consider joining a gang. The average age of gang members is from 14 to 21 years of age. Gang members, however, can be as young as 8 years old or as old as into their mid 30's.
Unfortunately, yes there are. Gangs always love it when a "white boy" joins because they can exploit them for free rides, free '40s', get them to sling for them, etc... and then finally once they've used them up leave them holding the bag as jail cover. When the "white boy" gets to prison, after being left holding the bag, they quickly discover that prison is segregated by race and they are on the wrong side of everything. From A-to-Z it's all bad.
Gang members wear a black bandana to conceal their identity while committing crimes or to show allegiance to their gang through colors or symbols. It can also be a way to intimidate others or signal solidarity with their group.

Sure there is racism of all kinds, a white guy is unlikely to get into some gangs whose members are Latino or African American, and vice versa. A gang is made up of one type of race usually. It is very rare for a black guy to be in a Mexican gang but it happens or a white guy in a black gang but things happen. And gangs usually fight people of their own race for more territory. But as more and more people join gangs they tend to fight different races.
Pancho Villa wasn't a gangster, he was a Mexican Rebel General. That information is true and so is the fact that he did have a gang and they were criminals. I am trying to track down members of that gang, because I am related to one or more of the members. Thank you for your answer.
Gang members use whatever firearms they can get a hold of. More than likely they are stolen from someone and sold illegally multiple times over. A very VERY small percentage are legally bought and owned by gang members, as most have criminal records.
