People would ride bicycles in great numbers. People and products would travel great distances by train. Eventually, electric vehicles might become possible for some people. The pace of life would be slower and people would need to work closer to home. There would be fewer obese people. Electric scooters might become really popular. Air travel would disappear. Steamships would be popular.
TERRIBLE! No cars. No buses to get to school. No boats. No planes. You would need to get a RARE electrical car and when it dies you would need to charge it. Sounds long. A world without oil would be just like the old days.
Saudi Arabia has around 15% of the world's proven oil reserves.

If there were no oil in the world, global economies would face significant challenges, as oil is a crucial energy source for transportation, manufacturing, and electricity generation. The absence of oil would accelerate the transition to alternative energy sources like solar, wind, and nuclear, but this shift could initially lead to energy shortages and economic instability. Industries reliant on petroleum products, such as plastics and chemicals, would need to innovate rapidly to find substitutes. Overall, daily life and global trade would undergo dramatic changes as societies adjust to a world without oil.
Since the sebaceous glands produce an oil, our skin would be very dry and flaky.
Without oil there would not have been the industrial revolution. We would still be riding horses. Without oil there would not be enough food to feed the population. Oil is the life blood of modern life.
It would be like a car without petrol when we run out of oil. A collection of metal, precious metals and plastic. Pretty useless. it would be an expensive paper weight lol
Without an oil filter in place the engine oil would just be pumped out of the engine , so the engine would run until the engine seized
If there had been no oil we would not have aircraft's, so many automobiles, other modes of transportation. We do not have enough stock of woods that we can burn and meet our present day energy needs. However using oil is not the permanent solution of our growing energy demands.
Refined oil is used in so many processes that allow us to have a good life. From medicines to transportation refined oil provides the link that keeps the world functioning. Without refined oil, the ability for farmers to create sufficient food would be seriously curtailed. Starvation of billions would be the natural result if oil refining were to cease. Many modern medicines contain petroleum products from refining also. A shorter lifespan would be the natural result here. Transportation would be almost impossible without refined oil also. Imagine a world where you could not have fresh fruit from other parts of the world or never seeing family again if you moved 100 miles away. Without refined oil, many of the clothes you wear would not exist and the colors would be less colorful.
It would be a disaster, the US is addicted to oil, and all the fat people would be crying for a way to get to the closest fast food store.
When the engine was without oil it was damaged if it knocks. Seel it soon.
