Race is a recent concept that arose in the 18th and 19th centuries. If you look at the terms Ariayan and Semite, they were only coined once the proto-indo-european language had been discovered. Ideas about differences in race are socially constructed. Now, some people have different cultures, and sometimes in modern society, these cultures break down in terms of 'race', but races themselves are not different. they are artificial inventions.
people of different races are not treated equally
There is no statistical relationship between race and sexual orientation. There has not been any official research to determine which race has the most gay people.
Slavery is considered inherently unequal because it involves the exploitation and dehumanization of individuals who are forced to work against their will without fair compensation or basic human rights. It perpetuates a system where some people have power and control over others solely based on their race, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status, leading to significant disparities in power, freedom, and opportunity.
Racism is the belief that there are inherent differences in people's traits and capacities which are entirely due to their race, however defined, and which consequently justify those people being treated differently, both socially and legally. Alternatively, racism is the practice of certain group/s of people being treated differently, which is then justified by recourse to racial sterotyping or pseudo-science. Those who disagree with the proposition that there are races or that there are such inherent (ie. non-personal, social or cultural) differences regard any differences in treatment of people on the basis of those criteria as being racial discrimination. Some of those who argue that there are such inherent differences also argue that one race is inferior over another race. In the case of institutional racism, certain racial groups may be denied rights or benefits, or receive preferential treatment.
Ethnicity and race are both social constructs used to categorize groups of people based on shared cultural and physical characteristics. Both can influence a person's identity and how they are perceived by society. However, ethnicity tends to focus more on cultural practices and traditions, while race is typically linked to physical characteristics such as skin color.
they were treated very differently... very differently... very very differently... some people had to get whipped... whipped cream
Sexism would be one, when people are treated differently just because of how they were born.
The public perception seems to be that, yes, they do get treated differently.
Because of the amount of pigment in their skin. People don't treat a blond-haired person differently from a brunette--and the only difference is the pigment.
It all goes back to segregation and slavery, some people still won't let it go.
Most humans don't give animals the same rights because the belive that animals do not think on the same level we do.
