Slums are on the increase mainly in the Less Economically Developed Countries because the industry in cities are just starting. Places like Nairobi, Kenya for example have a factory in the city which pulls people there for a job. But these migrants do not have money so they have to somehow build their own house, in Nairobi (south west) there is an ever-growing slum called Kibera. This is why the slums are becoming bigger because the urban migration in LEDC's is on the increase.
