In the United States, the white population inherently can not be the victims of institutional racism, as throughout US History they have always held a higher place in society over their black and brown counterparts. However, this does not mean that they can't be the victims of personal prejudice, which anybody can be subjected to based on skin color, gender, sexual orientation, etc., regardless of the power hierarchy that's present in the culture at large.
Racism can be directed towards any racial group, including white people. The belief that racism towards white people is not possible may stem from a misunderstanding of the definition of racism, which involves prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed at individuals of a particular racial group based on the belief of inherent superiority.
Racism involves systemic power dynamics, so while individuals of any race can hold prejudiced beliefs or exhibit discriminatory behavior, for a black person to be racist towards a white person, they would need to have societal power over that person based on their race, which is not the case in many societies.
Yes, racism is you not liking a person because he or she is not white, or isn't the same color as you are. Example if you say eww the Mexican, Indian, black, at school then it's called racism. It is also racism if a non-Caucasian person says "eww the white person" or something similar.
Racism played a significant role in justifying and perpetuating slavery, as it was used to dehumanize and oppress enslaved individuals based on their race. The belief in the superiority of one race over another was used to legitimize the exploitation and brutal treatment of enslaved people. This belief system helped maintain the institution of slavery for centuries.
Yes, the Confederate flag, often called the rebel flag, is a symbol of the Confederacy during the American Civil War, which fought to preserve slavery in the Southern states. It has been adopted by some white supremacist and hate groups and is seen by many as a symbol of racism and oppression towards black people.
Approximately 21% of the world's people are considered 'white'.
Reverse racism is considered racism that is by black people to white people. However, the whole idea of it makes no sense as a racist is just that, regardless of skin color.

Discriminating against someone specifically because they are white is racist. So yes, it can be considered racism.
It is most likely hating white people...I presume that's what white racism is.
there isn't a cirtain person who started racism. but it was white people
No, stupid people are the cause of racism. People are just people no matter where you go, the only differences are cultural.
Racism :(
Racism does not only happen between black and white people. It happens also with a combintion of all, oriental, hispanic, latinos, canadians.
Basically, everyone is victim to racism. African Americans or 'blacks' are mostly the base that started racism. So, generally, they were victims of racism, yet it has slowly died down, moving the 'spotlight of racists' towards Hispanics/Asians. Now, I know that the two shouldn't be combined but still, after blacks had their share of racism, it moved towards them. Asians, however, are not as racist or end of racism as Hispanics. Technically Hispanics are more racist then being victims, so that is yet another mark on the racism pole. Nowadays, surprisingly, it is white people who are mostly at the end of racism. Probably, racism is starting from who the majority is and who the minority is, so the tides have turned. Whatever.
This could be considered apartide or racism. Which is really wrong. So just google it. and DONT under any circumstances be RACIST...ITS A TERRIBLE TRAIT.
It is still called racism.
No. Racism is the institutionalized racial prejudices against a certain race of people. Since white people in America still have the vast majority of power to make laws and enforce them, racism still can only be against people of color, not against white people.
