yes, i snoughed (cough+sneeze) just the other day... I wholeheartedly agree ... you CAN cough and sneeze at the same time. And, funny enough, I call it a "snough", also! I myself do it frequently. It is not a pleasant experience at all, and I have yet to discover a remedy. Here's what my particular scenario involves: It usually starts with a persistent cough. While in the middle of my coughing, I will start a really long and drawn out sneeze ... the sound of the two combined is really quite embarrassing! It ends up being a kind of funny long and congested growling sound. But, while I am doing it, I cannot breathe OR see! It has happened to me many MANY times ... even while driving! So, if you can picture someone coughing, sneezing, choking, and blind all at the same time, you may have an idea of what a "snough" is.
