when my sister in law was traveling with my 1 yr old nephew she had apple sauce - she was allowed to take it b/c he was a baby (and you are allowed to take baby food) but they made her open it so they could test it. Of course it had the tin foil top & was not able to be closed then so a big hassle - the next time she had it already opened & in another small container.
