Life is very different through the eyes of a teenage girl and a teenage boy in Iran. The girls are not able to wear what they want, but the boys can. Girls don't have very many rights, they are basically considered sub classed humans. Their family controls them until marriage and then a husband takes over the control. Boys are taught at a young age that women need to be controlled.

The Iranian lifestyle?? Hmmmm.... Its about the same as Americans.. Kinda sorta. Iranians spend more time with their families, and i mean like a lot. Whereas some Americans don't even eat with their families. We spend soo much time in the park just walking arounf and talking, and we go to hilarious plays in local theatres. When we go out, we can't just leave with out our scarf and montoe, or our make-up! Like seriosly we put on A LOT of make-up on. We might be going out to the supermarket but we can't look like we just rolled out of bed! When we want to eat fast food, it's not the fast food you're thinking of. Although we do have hot dogs, burgers, and fries, we also think of Pizza and kebabs and lamb, or ashe reshteh or sirabee( ke kaleeam badeh be nazareh man!). And i was talking to my librarian the other day about Iran and apparently she thought that we all lived in mud huts...... WOW.....

Okay close your eyes... think of New ork city.... except we have a bunch of people with black hair, and tan or white people.

Oh and that thing of marrying your cousin, or arranged marraiges?? Totally Bogus! First of all marrying your cousin is Nasty, and i have yet to meet some in Iran who has done that. And Secondly, we don't do arranged marraiges. We date and have boyfriends and girlfriends so chillax.

dudes aren't allowed to gow their hair out or do anything with it during school, SO in the summer they go all skinny jeans, and muscle shirts and spiky cool hair. Its not what we are used to in America, but its different. ANd they are C-U-T-E!!!! hahahaahaha. it's true!!!

The girls there are not allowed to show any hair in school, have there nails painted or put on any make-up during school, so on the weekends or in summer they go crazy with the hair and the nails and the make-up!!

And the malls are packed with people.

When people come home they are usually sitting at a dining table eating their ghormeh sabzee with dough, or their fesenjoon, or khoreshteh bodemjoon, with their whole family.then go to sleep at like 2am on weekends and 11pm on weekdays. And yes they sleep in beds, not on the floor. eople their just enjoy there life. whenever i go there i always have the most fun ever because I'm surrounded by family and friends and people that you aren't afraid to talk to at 2am! There its also very busy! when i came back i was like " whered all the people go?" it just took some time to get used to again. Well and there is your Iranian Lifestyle!!
