2nd from last AAAA hhhh that famous quizz question. It's actually impossible from the way it's written. Nice piece of wit tough. Actually, if you think about it...if you passed the person in last place, you would already be in a position above last place...more than likely first place. Because if they're in last place, you were never in last place. Unless the question means that after passing them, they are now in the last position...the question should be clearer. You are still in first because you have lapped them. The other person is now a lap down.
