The word amicable is an adjective that relates to the spirit of goodwill and friendliness between relations with an absence of any rancor or ill will. Amicable is a synonym for cooperative, harmonious, neighborly, cordial, good natured or friendly and is the opposite of the antonym, unfriendly.
