My first time going to Knott's was when I was 11 too. So I totally know how you feel (I don't know how old this question is haha) I am turning 13 in 5 days and I have gone to Knott's scary farm ever year since I was 11. Here is my review:
When I was 11: I remember it not being scary at all! I mean of course it is scary but I didn't go in any of the mazes that year. (I am a huge scardey-cat) Me and my friends just walked around and got scared by the street people (no mazes)
When I was 12: It was 1000x scarier then. I went in ONE maze with a bunch of my friends (Quarantine) and it was scary as heck. Everyone on the streets freaked me out... I was hiding behind my friends the whole time.... and I just wanted to get out of there. We don't know why it was so much scarier. (I went with the same group of friends)
Now I'm 13: This year I'm excited to go! Me and my friends have planned out each maze we are going to do, and I think since we've all "grown up" with Knott's scary farm we are getting used to it! We are going on all of the less-scary mazes and are excited to try a couple of on-rides! I really recommend you start going now so that when you get older it becomes easier.
Hope I helped (:
A ticket to Knotts Berry Farm cost $8 in 1968. Throughout the years they have been forced to increase admission prices due to competition and general inflation in the economy.
