One of the best resources you have when you are buying or selling a home is your realtor. If you are staging a home for video, you may want to ask your realtor for local references.

Home Staging is a unregulated field, so Home Staging "schools" can not be accredited. See an News Article on my website regarding this, http://www.alldecorhs.com/article_buyers_beware.html I am a CSP (Certified Staging Professional) and I highly recommend CSP, they offer a great course and on-going support. As with any large purchase, I would do some research and speak to graduates of the Home Staging program you are interested in taking (may it be Haverhill, or any other program). GOOD LUCK Nancy Hoag ALLDECOR Home Staging, Toronto
Haverhill is a company that offered an accredited home staging course in an unregulated field. This means that once you complete the course, you can show that you did in fact take home staging training however it might not mean very much.Currently there are a number of different institutions (and I use the term loosely) as well as individuals who offer home staging courses. Most of the time, as with the CSP and ASP organizations, students are trained by professionals with vast amounts of experience in the home staging field. In regards to Haverhill, having known a few people who took the course with mixed results and then not being hired afterwards - this course is, in my opinion, given way too much hype.Home Staging is a unregulated field, so Home Staging "schools" can not be accredited. If you are serious about careers in the home decor business, consider some college courses first. These will give you a strong background. Then your choices might be interior design, home staging, party staging, painting and wall papering.
One might contact their local college/community college for information regarding the availability of home staging courses. One might also talk to local realtors for information regarding home staging courses.
Before we start giving you the best tips and tricks to home staging, let’s discuss what it is first. Home staging is rearranging your home so that potential buyers can imagine themselves living in it. Good home staging should also create a “mood” so that potential buyers can see their day-to-day life the way they want to live it take place. If you home stage successfully, you can even increase the asking price by 5% or more, getting back as much or more than you put in into the staging itself. Home staging essentially hides all of the flaws in the home and accentuates all of the best features. It also ensures that the home looks great in photos, as many people are looking at homes virtually before going into them, thanks to the pandemic. Remember, the key is to create a mood that makes people feel as though they’re home. It can also turn oddly shaped rooms or other design flaws into something that appears useable, making it seem like a bonus to the buyer. Some people do this by hiring companies to stage homes for them, whilst other people take on the project themselves. Ready to sell your house for cash today? Call us today at 901-250-0100.

Some Virtual Staging companies will also enhance the picture by fixing bad walls, floors, etc. but this practice is not condoned by most real estate professionals.
